We've been in towing and auto service business since 1958 as a family owned operation. Steyer’s Hudson Valley Auto Inc. is available 24 hours daily to provide your vehicle with critical roadside assistance and towing whenever you need it. We provide towing, road service and repairs for any size vehicle. We sell all brands of new tires and are a Cooper Tire dealer. We are an AAA affiliated shop as well as numerous other motor clubs. We treat each customer we serve like family and provide a family-friendly atmosphere from our auto repair shop to the cabins of our fleet of tow trucks. The simple idea (although easily forgotten in this day and age) is that customer service should be a priority of any business.

Driving up the highway in an unfamiliar town late one night my radiator overheated, spraying steam out of the hood. I pulled over and coordinated a wrecker, who towed me to Steyer's. I spent the night at a hotel, fearing that I was going to be raked over the coals in the morning. Imagine my surprise when they told me the hose merely needed to be tightened and the cap replaced...with parts, coolant, and labor it was just over $100 to get me back on the road. And they even picked me up at the hotel! I'm grateful for their service and glad to know them.

I purchased my car battery here over two years ago and just came in to have them check it. Still at 100% and they cleaned it up, all for free! Then they fit me in for a repair on something else quickly, despite being down a mechanic. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which is another plus.

At about 6 pm I found a leaking tire, drove to Steyers and they plugged it quickly & I was on my way. Great service and friendly family business.
